I was born and raised in the good state of Texas. So, before you ask, yes, everything is better in Texas. Having been born in 1999, just before the turn of the century, it will be epic to have lived in three different centuries if I can survive the geopolitical and economical landscapes for 101 years.

When I was 11, my family moved to Washington and let me tell you... what a culture shock. You go from warm days and warm people to the freezing northwest of the United States. I swear people in Washington cannot survive a day without their coffee. I say that as I am drinking my second cup of coffee...

Both professionally and personally I seek constant growth. This is reflected by how I spend my time. Wisdom is understanding when your knowledge is insufficient, gone through a process of retrospection on past experiences, and applied the lessons. I aim to try everything, fail, and then learn from those failures.

So, who am I? I can't really be classified into any singular stereotype. Professionally, I am a software engineer, not a 'developer' or 'coder'. However, what I do to make money, does not define who I am. If you're reading this, you obviously have some level of curiosity. To satisfy that curiosity, here is a short list of some of the cooler (this is subjective) facets:

  • Sports: Soccer, Rugby, Tennis, Jiujitsu
  • Hobbies: Carpentry, rock climbing, snowboarding
  • Self: Writing, Reading (do audio books count?)
  • And others... but you have to get to actually get to know me first 😆
"If something is important enough, you should try. Even if you know the probable outcome is failure." - Elon Musk

Let me get this out of the way too, I am a Christian. Not the "oh I go to church every week" kind, it's more of the "I will put my faith in the Lord and seek him" kind. If that offends you, I find it unfortunate that something or someone has made you feel that way. I am not the best example of a disciple, but I am always growing. Forgive me where I fall short.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing, and perfect will." - Romans 12:2
